The Gulf of Mexico is home to thousands of species of fish, ranging from bottom fish red snapper to fast moving Cobia to everything in between. Along with the many species of readily available fish there are quite few ways to go about catching them.
Destin is home to the largest fleet of charter boats found in one port in North America. Choose a variety of trips out of Destin Harbor and soon you will be at the Gulf of Mexico’s 100 Fathom Curve, found closer here than anywhere else in Florida. Destin is also only a little over a 20 mile voyage to reach the edge of the continental shelf, commonly known as “The Edge.” Here you will find huge Grouper, Red Snapper, and Amberjack, as well as varieties such as: Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and even Billfish.
This is guaranteed to be a trip you will soon never forget.

Starting at 9 miles off shore, and quickly reaching depths of 100 to 300 ft., you will be fishing for a wide variety of fish including: Amberjacks, Grouper, Snapper, Scamp, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, Bonito, Shark and possibly Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Marlin, and Tuna.
The word “Party” when used in deep sea fishing refers to a large group of people fishing together on one boat.
Party boats are very appeally to many first time deep sea fishing participants, with a lower cost compared chartering a private boat.
Many party boat operators supply many of the items and ammenties needed such as fishing licenses, suppling rods, bait, and helping with cleaning and packaging of your catches.
Whether you’re a newbie or you’re an experienced fisherman, a Destin party boat experience offers so much more than a simple fishing trip, it’s a memory to last a lifetime!
