Summer is here and the time is right for sharpening up your tropical drink making skills! Here are a few easy, time-honored recipes to help jump start your creativity! And as always drink responsibly!!!
1 part BACARDI® Rum
3 parts club soda
12 mint leaves
1/2 Part SugarPlace 12 mint leaves, 1/2 part sugar and 1/2 lime in glass. Muddle well with a pestle. Add BACARDI® Rum, top off with club soda, stir well and garnish with sprigs of mint or a lime wheel.
12 oz BACARDI® Superior Rum
4 cups strawberries
1 cup of ice
1/2 cup sugarMix all ingredients in a blender and blend for 10-20 seconds. Serve in a chilled cocktail glass. Or just add BACARDI® Strawberry Daiquiri Mixer to 12 ounces of BACARDI® Superior Rum for a delicious pitcher of frozen libations.
BACARDI® SELECT® PIÑA COLADA
3 parts BACARDI® Select Rum
4 parts pineapple juice
2 parts cream of coconut
Combine ingredients in a blender or shaker with crushed ice. Blend or shake and pour into glass. Or, just add BACARDI® Select to BACARDIÒ Mixers Piña Colada mix for the perfect colada every time.
For a great tasting non-alcoholic treat just omit the rum!
